Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, Prenatal massage a plus.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on client goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Document all sessions using SOAP notes
• Following the massage session, provide education and recommendations to clients as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients about their experiences and adjust techniques accordingly.

Requirements

• Valid PA state license for massage therapy and certification from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Valid professional liability insurance.
• Valid mandatory reporter training (Act 31).
• Valid Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to assess clients' needs and modify treatments accordingly.
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help others improve their well-being.
• Strong time management skills to handle a diverse schedule of appointments.
• Willingness to continue education and stay updated on industry trends and practices.
